I have been designing & selling artistic beaded jewelry as a hobby for over 30 years.  I am basically self taught.  I enjoy both stringing and bead weaving. After moving to Aiken, SC from Kingman, Arizona I found there were no local bead shops.  I missed the local bead shop from home where you could hand pick your beads. After attending several local Craft Fairs I found that there were quite a few other beaders in the area and began selling beads from my home.  I soon found that I needed a lot more space then our tiny spare bedroom so in March 2003, I opened Aiken's first bead shop in an obscure building with only 400 square feet of space.  I quickly outgrew that location and moved to the shops current location in 2004. I enjoy the downtown location of the shop where I can sit in front of the window and bead. 
This adventure has been a dream come true for me. I feel so lucky that I have been able to turn my love for beads and beading into a fantastic business.  Currently we do not offer on-line sales. Please visit us when you are in Aiken, SC. We are Aiken's only locally opened Bead Shop.
